Math Identity & Mindset Coach / Math Specialist

I have been a math coach for a preK-5 elementary school for the last ten years, and it has become my passion to not only help kids see themselves as math people, but also to help foster the growth and development for the adults who support them, parents and educators. Additionally, I am an Illustrative Mathematics Certified Facilitator (IMCF), providing professional learning experiences grounded in the Illustrative Mathematics curriculum. Prior to my work as a coach and professional learning facilitator, I was a classroom teacher for ten years, teaching mostly sixth grade math and science, and have also taught third and fourth grade mathematics. I have earned a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Elementary Education 1-6, a Master's of Education in Mathematics K-8, and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Educational Leadership.
